Next WoW expension Cataclysm will be live in several months.
Our guild is preparing for it for some time so we would like to know which of our members will continue to play when expension hit stores, and will you continue to play same character/class/spec or you want to change it.
We need all these answers on our forum until the end of August. So everyone log to forum and reply to following link

We will allow switching to another class/spec only if that class is not already full. From beginning of September we will announce which classes/spec are available. At the moment we are lacking:
hunters
elemental shamans
warlocks
and possibly some tanks and healers (but we will know that for sure when we see full list).

All the players who won't do it until the end of August we will be select to the group of players who wants to quit game. They will be ranked as reserves or friends if they won't confirm if they will play and what class/spec they will play.

Many others changes will apply soon (new rules (general guild rules, raiding rules, DKP rules), ranks, raiding selections, various topics related to alts and friends etc.). We will post all these informations until the end of September. After release of expension our guild will be more strict and more hard core raiding guild, our old alt guild will be resurrect and all the players who won't raid will have to move their characters there along with all inactive raid alts (we will inform you in time how and when we will do that - some things are not yet sure and they are related with new guild ranking system, guild perks etc. so we have to see how that will work and shall our alts and friend benefit us more in main guild or not).

From mid-September we will start recruiting all the classes/spec that we will need for expension so we need all these answers as soon as possible.

It seems that Summer hit us hard with holiday vacations so maybe it's the best that everyone take 3-4 weeks off from all oficial raids. Ofc signup will still be here for all who want to raid but we can't promise that anything will really happen until 15-20th August.
U can sign your mains or alts and do what you want. If you want to PUG any 25 men you are free to do it aswell. 10 men try not to PUG and fix some groups from players who can and want to raid during vacations.
Many players went to vacations with their families so they are not free to log in game, some want to take break from WoW and to do something else so just enjoy whatever you do. This happen every year since 2005 so nothing to worry about. See you all in month time.

New DKP decay rules:

1) weekly DKP decay: if you don't raid for a week - 25 % of DKP gained that reset period
2) monthly DKP decay:
a) if you are not raid active for a month - losing 1/3 of DKP you have
b)if you are not raid active for two months - losing 2/3 of DKP you have
c) if you are not raid active for three months - losing 3/3 of DKP you have (you go to 0)

Dear members,

our official guild Summer holiday will start at 7th July and will end 24th August. During that period we won't calculate DKP decay.
During Summer holiday period we will still making raids for those who want and can attend them. At the moment we are not sure shall we make only 10 men groups or eventually we will continue with 25 men raiding. Everything will depend on signups.

We wish you nice holidays and to spend it well with friends and family, and ingame aswell

Ankh officers

From next reset 3rd February 2010 all please do this:
write down in note when u can play and sign for all days 7 days in advance.
Ofc something could happen and u can't come but at least we will see who can come or who can't for sure.
If you can come sign as usual, if you can't come sign as unsigned, if you not sure sign as not sure.
This can help a lot when we plan what we will do each during each reset period. Not signing at all is not helping us and it is worst scenario what we actually have at the moment. SO help us doing this.
